Why might an Educational Counselor be useful to me?

Today's educational offerings are very broad and complex; choosing the right path takes time and specific skills.

Working with a college counselor allows students and their families to be guided through a structured process while respecting the time required to choose and carry out the questions.

My greatest passion is to help students, supported by their families, achieve their goals, ambitions and, if possible, even their dreams.

For this reason, I make my professionalism available to rockets and their families by not focusing exclusively on the academic path but by working on building a rich and satisfying experience educationally, personally, and socially.

When is the right time to begin this journey?

It is not mail too early to start thinking about such an important and complex choice! Orienting yourself in a very wide range of offerings, understanding the right paths, and dealing with different applications takes time. And it is important to have that time.

For this reason, it would be important to start an orientation at least in the first few months of the penultimate year of high school.

We don't live in the same city as you. Can we still work together?

Absolutely! I routinely follow students in different parts of Italy and in some cases abroad.

I normally work in accordance with my clients' availability using a combination of in-person meetings and through video calls.

What is "Best Fit?"

Best fit is a very common expression in the Anglo-Saxon world to refer to the right college or university for any young person that is not necessarily the most famous or renowned.

We can talk about Best Fit in three ways:

Academic: Academic fit means that the college offers a program of study that meets your interests and needs. It provides a style of education that matches the way you like to learn. It also provides a level of academic rigor that matches your abilities.

Financial: fiancial fit indicates that the overall cost is in line with each family's ability to spend or offers benefits such as scholarships and work-study opportunities

Social: social fit means that the university has a set of characteristics (student population, size, activities' social or study support) that make you feel at home. The university you attend must be right for you and you must be the ideal student for it . This is the "best fit"!

Do you really visit college campuses?

Certainly! I spend a lot of time in visiting universities in different countries. This allows me to get to know the "admission offices," talk to faculty, touch on the most innovative and interesting programs, and breathe in the different atmospheres that animate the campuses.

Each university offers different opportunities and also thrives on the cultural background that accompanies the students who attend it. The "culture" of each university thus becomes an important factor to cross-reference with the profile of the aspiring student.

How often does he meet with students?

It depends on the student, his or her needs, and the type of university he or she decides to apply to; some pathways require more intensive work conducted together, while others allow them to be handled more independently by the student.

In all cases, much time is spent on developing a targeted "college list" and the necessary documents for each application.

Full supervision and assistance at all stages of the course is guaranteed for all students until final confirmation.
